Why we started

After we started our holiday rentals, we came to Minamiboso almost every weekend, and our son went from a pale city schoolboy to a suntanned, energetic boy all year round.

In summer, we collected insects, watched the stars at Nojimazaki Lighthouse, and caught fish in the rock pools.

Through play in nature, our son grew a great deal.

We thought it would be wonderful to have a place where city families like ours could enjoy the nature of Minamiboso.

So we opened a cottage for families to enjoy at the southern tip of Minamiboso.

Please come and experience a cottage stay you cannot have at a hotel, in the nature of Minamiboso.

Amenities and facilities

KitchenThe 2nd floor has a counter kitchen facing the living area. We provide tableware, pots, frying pans, a rice cooker, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and more. Seasonings are not provided.
Bath, washroom and toiletsThe bathroom and the washroom/changing area are on the 2nd floor. There is one toilet on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor.
For childrenThe toy box in the living room holds a children's tent, an astronomical telescope, a planetarium set, a balance beam, games and more. The photos also show a basketball hoop, darts and a ball pit. We provide one baby futon set. There is no baby cot, baby chair or children's tableware.
BBQThe backyard has a BBQ space that is hard to see from the street. We lend a BBQ grill, grill net and tongs free of charge. Please bring your own charcoal and firewood.
ToiletriesWe provide bath towels, face towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and a hair dryer.
Appliances and internetThere is a TV, Wi-Fi and a washing machine.
ParkingThere is parking for 3 cars on the property. There is also a free public car park nearby.

Stays of 3 nights or more are 20% off the nightly rate. Pre-holiday nights are Saturdays and nights before public holidays. High season is 28 Dec to 3 Jan, 29 Apr to 4 May and 17 Jul to 28 Aug. Please contact us about whether rates include tax.

How to book

  1. Choose your dates on the availability calendar.
  2. Enter your name, the number of guests and your credit card. Your booking is confirmed right away.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email.
  4. We will send you check-in instructions after you book.

Cancellation fees and payment

Cancellation fees are 20% from 30 to 7 days before arrival, 50% from 6 to 2 days before, and 100% on the day before and the day of arrival.

Payment is by credit card in advance only. The card you register when booking is charged automatically 3 days before check-in. For bookings made within 3 days of check-in, it is charged right after booking. Payment on site is not available.
